Looking Ahead to 2026: Miles, Memories and Momentum

As we roll toward 2026, we’ve been spending a lot of time at Sequim Bike Studio reflecting on why we do what we do—and getting excited about what’s ahead. Every year brings new roads, new faces, and new stories, but the heart of it all stays the same: bikes have a way of bringing people together, and we’re grateful to be part of that journey with you.

2026 is shaping up to be a big year. More rides, more events, more reasons to get out early, ride long, and finish with tired legs and full hearts. Whether it’s a casual weekday gravel spin, a big weekend adventure, or a multi-day bikepacking route that’s been calling your name, we can’t wait to share the miles with you.

More Rides, More Adventures

Next year, our calendar will be packed with the kinds of rides that define why we love riding here in the first place. Expect a mix of:

  • Weekly gravel and road rides for all abilities

  • Signature events that bring riders together from across the region

  • Bikepacking overnighters and weekend trips that turn maps into memories

  • Seasonal adventures that celebrate everything from spring miles to fall grit

Our goal is simple: create rides that are welcoming, well-organized, and just challenging enough to remind you why you fell in love with bikes in the first place.

A Place to Gather, Not Just a Place to Shop

Sequim Bike Studio has always been about more than bikes on racks. It’s about conversations before a ride, laughs after a long day in the saddle, and that shared nod between riders who know exactly how good (and hard) the ride was.

In 2026, we’re leaning even harder into being a hub—a place where ideas for routes are swapped, trips are planned, and friendships are built one ride at a time.

Community Column: Growing Our Local Gravel & Bikepacking Scene

One of our biggest hopes for 2026 is to continue growing our local gravel and bikepacking community.

Gravel riding and bikepacking thrive on curiosity and camaraderie. They’re about exploring the roads less traveled, carrying what you need, and trusting that the adventure will be worth it. We want to help make that style of riding more accessible and more inclusive here at home.

That means:

  • Lower-barrier group rides for riders new to gravel

  • Skill-building opportunities for bikepacking, gear setup, and route planning

  • Encouraging mentorship, where experienced riders help newer ones find their stride

  • Creating space for all riders—no matter speed, background, or experience level

If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to try that, but I don’t know where to start,” we want Sequim Bike Studio to be your answer.

Rolling Forward Together

As we look toward 2026, we’re filled with gratitude—for the rides we’ve already shared and for the ones still waiting just around the bend. Thank you for being part of this community, for showing up, and for choosing adventure.

We’ll see you on the road, on the gravel, and somewhere far enough out that the only thing that matters is the next turn of the pedals.

Here’s to 2026—let’s ride into it together. 🚴‍♂️🌲
