About the event
Are you ready for a very big day of some of the best that Vancouver Island has to offer?
This adventure starts at the Black Ball Ferry in Port Angeles. After a fun boat ride to Victoria, we'll process through customs and head out on the trail. We'll ride the Galloping Goose Trail to Langford, next the Glen Lake Trail to the Sooke Hills Wilderness Trail.
The Sooke is steep, long and very beautiful which will take us to the Malahat Connector and eventually the Cowichan Valley Trail.
Lunch break will be in Shawnigan Lake. After lunch we'll make our way to Mill Bay and catch a ferry across the Saanich Inlet to Central Saanich and follow the Lochside Trail back in to Victoria!
Big mileage, big climbs, big day. Don't let the map or distance fool you, this is a proper wilderness adventure.
