About the event
The Premier showing of the Catalina Island Bikepacking Adventure, ridden by Olympic Peninsula locals, is brought to you (for free) by the Sequim Bike Studio!
Movie will start at 6:00pm on Friday, January 31st. Follow along on this adventure with bikepacking buddies Garth , John and Ben as they take on the logistical nightmare of traveling from Sequim to Seattle, flying to Los Angeles (during the fires) getting to Long Beach, catching an Island Ferry, circumnavigating the entire island and getting back home in just four days! They encountered all sort of wildlife including: Bison, Foxes, Eagles, Pelicans, Sea Lions, Dolphins and more... The bulk of this adventure takes place on the interior of the Catalina Island Conservency and they never encountered another bike rider during the entire trip. The Island was mostly rugged, rocky, dirt roads and two-track with significant climbing. (Average of 2000ft of climbing per 10 miles)…
