Let's do some off-road gravel bike adventure!
Let's start in Port Angeles near the Red Lion Inn on the ODT. We'll make our way to the trailhead of the Olympic Adventure Trail, off of Dan Kelly road. After covering the entire OAT, that would be a perfect time to stop for lunch at the Blackberry Cafe. (in Joyce) After lunch we'll head out to the coast towards Salt Creek and climb over Striped Peak to Freshwater Bay. Once everyone is over and accounted for, it's a straightforward spin back on the ODT to Port Angeles.
Total mileage 55+ and total elevation gain 5100+
Not an easy route, but challenging and beautiful.
Not for beginners.
