About the event
The Coho Ferry is running again and we need to go ride the best gravel around!
One of our Classics, we catch the morning ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria. (Meet at the Black Ball Ferry Terminal no later than 7:50am to get on the ferry) On arrival in Victoria, we'll go through customs, and then assemble to ride the Galloping Goose Trail west towards Mattheson Lake. After a rest stop at the lake, we'll decide (based on the group strength) to go further and ride to the Sooke Inlet or head back to the town of Metchosin for lunch. Once lunch is over, the ride takes us back to Victoria, for some ice cream or doughnuts, and back to the ferry terminal. We will catch the last ferry home, leaving Victoria at 4:00pm.
